our story
I watched my son in a skate park on his scooter one day, and decided right there I didn’t want to assume I’d be on the sidelines, just watching my kids anymore. I’d always been into surfing and snowboarding but skateboarding scared the hell out of me. One year in and I’m hooked on all three and am passionate about other women experiencing the same journey.
Board Women was born with the aim of being more than a sports based retreat. We want to lift up women’s confidence, inspire them to find the fun in life, and realise that midlife and beyond can be an adventure.
